I didn't like the movie, but it wasn't nearly as annoying as Garden State. This may be because I like Zooey Deschanel and I can't stand Natalie Portman (except in Leon the Professional). Anyway. The one thing that was interesting to me was the fact that a relationship can be totally different from what you think it is. 500 Days was told from his point of view; I bet her movie would have been more interesting. ***Spoilers*** Hi, I'm Summer. I moved from there to this dead end job and ended up making out with this coworker in the copy room to liven things up. He turned out to be kind of funny, and I liked spending time with him. I told him straight away I wasn't interested in anything remotely serious, and he seemed to be OK with it. Things got boring after a while as they always do, and I got snippy as I always do. Because now I'm in this thing where he's entitled to me in a way that no one else is, even though there are no labels. But here's the real story: just after I cut off the whole friends with benefits deal with him, I fell in love. Actual, true love. Being with him made me feel as if I were alone, but better. We got engaged and married right away. Every now and then I felt bad about the way I treated Coworker, but I went out of my way to give him closure and that seems fair enough. I'm expecting children soon. THE END!!
I like the way she puts flowers and giant rhinestone pins in her hair. I like her voice, but I don't like the songs I've Youtubed so far.

I adore Zooey Deschanel (but was really disappointed when I found out she pronounced her name Zoe rather than Zoo-ey).
She always just looks so fun!!
If you listen to She & Him Volume I from beginning to end in one go, you'll love it -- I promise! It's much better this way than picking out a song here and there.
